The Dispersive Viscoelastic Substitute is an economical solution designed for use with SimulEYE models. It primarily serves as a surface coating gel, enhancing visibility into the models and covering incisions to minimize the entry of air bubbles into the eye. For optimal effectiveness, it is best used in conjunction with the Cohesive Viscoelastic Substitute.
This viscoelastic substitute can also simulate Ocucoat, making it suitable for loading an ICL into the injection cartridge and for injecting an ICL into the anterior chamber.
It is available in 5cc syringes with a 20g cannula, allowing for easy dispensing of larger volumes when necessary.
