The new NIDEK OPD-Scan III is the latest diagnostic/refractive instrument that serves the practice as an autorefractor, keratometer, pupillometer, corneal topographer and wavefront aberrometer.
Featuring 2520 aberrometry measurements, over 11,000 topography measurements, photopic and mesopic pupillometry, lenticular retroillumination, a toric lens planning tool, and visual simulations replicating photopic or mesopic conditions.
A new interactive graphic interface summarises the information in comprehensive summary screens. Summary screens can be customised to include information specific to the application.
FEATURES:
- Five-in-One Vision Examination: The unique OPD-Scan III is an advanced vision assessment system that combines topography, wavefront, automated refractor, keratometry, and pupillometry.
- Detailed Patient Summaries: The OPD-Scan offers multiple map summaries to suit you practice or clinical requirements with easy-to-understand patient reports and even more details for comprehensive vision analysis.
- Enhanced Measurement Accuracy: 33 blue placido mires provide a minimum of 11,880 data points which is more than 170% of the OPD-Scan II. The blue wavelength allows greater precision in ring detection. The reduced illumination creates a comfortable patient experience.
- Final Fit Software: The optional Final Fit software evaluates and converts the OPD-Scan III’s refractive and topographic data to produce the precise customized ablation parameters for the NIDEK EC Quest Excimer Laser System.
