SimulEYE® Membrane Peeling Kit offers a BASIC and easy solution for practicing retina membrane peeling. Whether you want to try different retina forceps or experience various 3D visualization systems, this Kit solves the challenges that come with trying to work outside of the OR or lab setting. When the vitrectomy machine is not available for a light source, this Kit includes our Lighted Base to support the eye and provide excellent posterior illumination. There are no fiber optic components provided with this Kit.
The reusable SimulEYE® model has a glass optic cornea for excellent visualization. The eye can be easily opened and a new retina with a membrane can be inserted and ready to go in seconds. There is no need to apply gels and dry them out in order to create a membrane. There is no concern of changes in humidity. The membranes will perform the same every time.
