Developed in Canada, the LightX EyeClip is a clip-on digital imaging solution that connects directly to the oculars of virtually any slit lamp. Once installed, it provides a realistic 3D slit lamp viewing experience and allows clinicians to capture and retain images from patient examinations.
By adding digital image capture to an existing slit lamp, EyeClip can help practices improve clinical documentation, facilitate case reviews, and create visual aids that support patient education. Captured examination information can also be used in live or asynchronous teleconsultation workflows, helping clinicians collaborate when participants are not in the same location.
EyeClip is designed around a flexible, removable format. Unlike a permanently integrated slit lamp camera, it can be attached when required and removed when not in use. The EyeClip package includes the EyeClip, an LED Smart Box Kit, and two iPhone 14 devices. A LightX App annual licence is required.
